Friday, November 18, 2022, was the second Congress of the Fighter Force where were gathered at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace – Paris-Le Bourget the French astronauts, the pilots of the Patrouille de France, and the pilots of the Fighter Force. Young people in training to the most experienced, as well as the old ones were there. First of all, General Stéphane Mille, Chief of Staff of the French Air Force, gathered at the Airmen’s Memorial at Le Bourget for a ceremony in honor of the fallen pilots.
Then we were invited to enter the museum where each participant received the bronze corner, which I created and engraved for this occasion.

A very nice evening, in the middle of the planes which mark the history of aviation and aerospace. To finish under the Concordes, jewels of technologies to make radiate the know-how. Thank you!

General Stéphane Mille, Chief of Staff of the French Air Force and Space Agency, presents the « Fine Gold Coin » (a limited edition of 25 medals) to our French astronauts.
Shortly before, the Air Force and Space Staff presented the bronze wedge to the newly integrated airmen.
Here is a small movie that shows my work steps for this creation.
Medal diameter 40 mm, obverse and reverse modeled.
On the obverse, I am inspired by my creation for the medal of the pilots, mechanics and teams of the PAF (link création médaille de la PAF), with the pilot in the center of the composition and surrounded by fighter aircraft: the Jaguard, the Mirage F1C, the Rafale, the Mirage 2000 and the Alphajet of the Patrouille de France. They are seen from below.
You will notice on the right arm of the pilot, he wears the crest of the Chasse, with the two chevrons, the oak crown, the star and our blue, white and red cockade.
On the reverse: the hunting crest.
